Our technical staff is focused on the performance of application systems engineering projects for our customers that serve to demonstrate the flexibility of our suspension technology and its effectiveness in a wide range of vehicle platforms. DTI has done a wide variety of system application projects for customers ranging from passive to full active control on everything from heavy mining trucks to advanced light passenger car systems. We have designed, built, and proven application configurations such as beam and independent axle, Macpherson strut, swing arm strut, and various equal and unequal A-Arm configurations. DTI has also designed and proven wheeled and tracked Military vehicle systems providing important future mission and mobility capabilities now.
 

DTI is located in Addison, Texas and operates a 24,000 square foot research and development facility, which includes a test laboratory and welding and fabrication facility. In addition to system engineering, DTI has full dynamic vehicular and machinery 3D-simulation and stress analysis capability. From concept design and prototype development to successful optimization of production hardware, DTI utilizes these tools throughout the development process for maximum results.
DTI has experience in dynamic analysis for applications, including everything from two-wheel high mobility trailers to four-wheel vehicles ranging from passenger cars to large off-road mining trucks and special high mobility vehicles such as the HMMWV and HTTMP, the predecessor to the JTEV.
